From health, to education, to earning potential

Hunger impacts everything

The most recent data from Feeding America’s Map the Meal Gap study has revealed that in Colorado, 1 in 9 people (including 1 in 7  kids) are at risk of food insecurity.

At Ellis and McMeen Elementary Schools, 65-90% of students qualify for free and reduced-priced school meals.

Food safety nets like school lunch programs and ensure that children are fed during the school day. But what about the rest of the family? What do families do when school is not in session?

Community based organizations like ours are critical to provide food for the whole family for dinners, weekends, and throughout the summer.
